As cost-of-living and financial pressures rise for the average Australian, workers are continuously feeling bombarded with stressful realities regarding their work situations. This is prompting Aussies to work outside of normal hours, in order to relieve stress and get work finished. This has encouraged a call for legislation to allow people to disconnect from work.

The Greens have recently introduced a bill to federal parliament, to allow Australians the legal right to ignore work-related emails and calls outside of work hours. This will assist with the overload of hours and work related stress, even when away from work.
