We are looking for a Service Desk Analyst to join our growing IT Team based at our Head Office in Port Adelaide.

Role Overview

The Service Desk Analyst is responsible for providing effective and timely first and second level support for all staff within the Flinders Port Holdings Group. This includes providing service delivery and desktop support services including application and technology support for enterprise and operational systems, supporting the other members of the IT department, and working effectively with the team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute effectively to the team ensuring efforts are aligned toward achieving team goals;
  • Provide quality customer service in response to enquiries and requests for assistance in the use of enterprise and operational system, ensuring that accurate and timely information and assistance is supplied to effectively resolve or fulfil requests;
  • Provide quality technical support to assist in the setup, maintenance and use of end-user Information Technology systems and devices;
  • Contribute to the effective management of operational Information Technology assets; and
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes, knowledge base information and vendor relationships.

 

About you

Your skills and experience will include;

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong customer service and work ethic;
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to enable effective identification and resolution of IT related issues;
  • Experience working in a service/help desk role with knowledge of service desk operations and incident management processes;
  • Experience in supporting Windows desktop environments and sound knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and;
  • Experience in administration of user accounts and permissions in Active Directory and Azure AD.
